Julia Loren is a journalist (B.A., University of Washington), licensed counselor (M.S., Seattle Pacific University), and a frequent contributor to both secular and religious publications.

A very inspirational speaker, Julia ministers in a variety of venues around the world and offers a variety of workshops and retreats that brings delight to the hearts of people as they connect with their destiny.

Julia was born in San Francisco during an era when her parents frequented parties with the likes of Lawrence Ferlinghetti and Allan Ginsburg. Raised in Southern California, Julia fell under the spell of the ocean and spent her youth in or on or under water in the company of other "happy heathens".

A former journalist and public relations writer, she has since published several books and loves helping others develop their writing projects.

"Many people invite me into their lives asking for help on their writing projects so I get an earful of how badly you want to write and be published. The words churn and tumble inside of you like a storm begging for release. After the chaos of the storm of words has passed from your brain into the computer or onto the written page, you need to restore order and flow and prepare the message for the masses. You need a mentor. I have helped pastors, prophets, ministry leaders, childrens book authors, novelists and businessmen create books that are unique and well received by their readers. Some come to me with an idea in mind while others send me a complete manuscript for review. As we work together, their words shape into something beautiful and before too long, they break into print as conventional publishers swoop in to release the book to a wide audience or they decide to self-publish and market to the niche they know best."

She is the author of several books including, most recently, the Glimpses of Jesus series – Breaking the Spirit of Despair, Dancing in the Fullness of Joy, (Tharseo Publishing, 2006); Divine Intervention: True Stories of Heaven Invading Earth (Tharseo Publishing, 2008); and When God Says Yes: His Promise & Provision When You Need it Most (Chosen Books, 2010).

Her books Shifting Shadows of Supernatural Power (with contributing authors Bill Johnson and Mahesh Chavda, Destiny Image 2006) and its sequelShifting Shadows of Spiritual Experiences (with co-author James Goll, Destiny Image, 2007), focus on increasing awareness of this current move of God, bringing both discernment and balance to readers, and motivating all believers to take their place in the plan unfolding during this generation of time.
